National Electrical Safety Month

As May approaches, the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) is preparing to actively engage in National Electrical Safety Month, an annual campaign sponsored by the Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI). This annual campaign serves as a reminder of the importance of electrical safety in both residential and commercial environments.

National Electrical Safety Month is dedicated to educating individuals about the measures they can take to minimize the risks associated with electricity, thereby reducing the occurrence of electrically related fires, injuries, and fatalities. It's a month-long effort to empower communities, organizations, schools, and families with the knowledge needed to promote electrical safety effectively.
